How to recognize...

...a good personal trainer?

As you know, at almost every gym in the world there work personal trainers telling their clients how they need to train and what to eat to achieve their goals. But how can one tell a good personal trainer? Like in every other profession, there are successful PTs and those less competent. Some personal qualities make all

the difference. There are a few tips which, I hope, will help you choose your personal trainer.

Asking questions: Personal trainer should carry out an interview to learn about you enough to protect you from contusion, illness or unwanted stress.

Moreover, he must be aware of your goals and dreams, otherwise, he will not be able to help you.

Doing tests: From time to time he must test your fitness level to check on the progress you have made and then, relying upon the results of the tests, he will be able to create a new program.

Being qualified: Do not be afraid to ask your PT about his or her qualifications as you entrust your health to them.

Not knowing the answer to every question: He is not afraid to tell you that he does not know the answer to your question but he will look it up and answer you later. Physical exercises, dietetics, nutrition, supplements, human anatomy are very abundant fields of knowledge, so it is almost impossible to know everything.

Looking like a personal trainer: It is not about huge muscles but he should look fit to show that he practices what he preaches and knows how.
