Tabata

What is it ???

It is a highly intensive training lasting about 4 minutes where the anaerobic period of work is interspersed with short breaks.


Tabata workout improves not only aerobic and anaerobic capacity, but alsoaccelerates metabolism. Apart from that, it improves the ability to burn fat tissue, as well as resistance to muscle pain. This is an excellent complementary training to various sports workout. Performing tabata should be limited to a maximum of 4 times a month / once a week.

The  frequency depends on your level of fitness and the weights which you use during your workout ( larger weight - less frequent). Due to high intensity of the workout, frequent training can cause injuries and hasten muscle catabolism, therefore it is important to take anticatabolic supplements at this time.
