Studies have shown that many people would live much longer if they practiced sports. A lot of people die of different diseases just because they were too lazy to get up from a chair and go to the gym, swimming pool, tennis court or playground.
Thanks to a little movement they could save themselves the suffering and live in good health. So get up and move to avoid….

Overweight and obesity - During the slow march lasting one hour, you can burn about 350 calories. During physical exercise when we run, ride a bike, or even go upstairs, our metabolism increases from four to twenty times!!! This will last up to 48 hours after exertion, which means that even when we sleep our body still benefits from the workout and keeps burning fat. Why is it so important ???  Because overweight and obesity increase the risk of cardiovascular system diseases.

 

Hypertension - Physically active people have lower blood pressure. Movement and physical activity strengthen the heart muscle so that it can pump blood better. It also improves the flexibility of blood vessels, which makes blood easier to circulate and reduces the negative effects of stress, which also causes the reduction of blood pressure.

 

Atherosclerosis - Physical effort causes the body to produces more of good cholesterol (HDL) and it removes the wrong cholesterol (LDL) out of the arteries. LDL is deposited on the walls of arteries and forms atherosclerosis. Appropriate level of physical effort can prevent you from that and even more. It can also protect our vessels from the formation of blood clots, which can cause a heart attack and brain stroke.

 

Osteoporosis - Physical effort helps to maintain balance in the process of destruction and creation of bone cells. Sedentary lifestyle leads to the reduction of bone mass and it does not depend on age. Physical effort makes the bones thicker and improves their density.

 

I mentioned here just a few illnesses which you can avoid by applying the physical effort but there is a lot more!!! Do not get sick, you have a choice!!!
